Food was pretty good (Clam chowder was not) however I left my mobile on the table with only a couple in their late 50's sitting by us. Upon returning to claim it the next day "nobody" had turned it in. So unless this couple nearby took my phone I guess you can decide for yourself.

Very dissapointing

Great steak? Maybe not, but it sure is the best steak for the money ANYWHERE! You get a huge steak that is very tasty and cooked to perfection with all the "old time" sides on your table. What are people complaining about? Would you rather go to Perter Luger's and have a steak that costs $60.00 and watch all the pompous asses talk about how wonderful their "dry aged" steak is? Tastes like rotten meat! Arthur's is always wonderful. Ambiance is something I don't need to pay for, and I like the "feel" at Arthur's. As far as the fat and grizzle, it's a steak! When you eat clams, expect shell. Ribs, expect bones. Steak, you get some fat and grizzle.

You are getting a 24oz delmonico and your complaining about the vein of fat that comes with it? You've got to be kidding me. They could trim that off, but the edible amount of meat will still be the same. And BTW...the fat ads flavor! If your not into Delmonico's, then you're right, Arthur's ain't the place for you. But I guarantee you that an upscale restaurant charges $30+ for the same steak and not cooked to perfection like at Arthur's. I'm getting hungry just talking about it. By far the best steak i have EVER had. Ruth's Chris doesn't do it better.

Oh...just checked...Delmonico's Steak House in NYC serves a 20oz delmonico for $39!

I agree with Joey. My steak was had lots of fat and grizzle (or however it's spelled). It was heavily seasoned perhaps to hide things but the meat itself was not high quality.

Service was okay.

Best steaks in the tri-state area? Great steaks?

I have been their twice and twice have been served steaks that were about one-third gristle.

Nothing great about the steaks. Apparently the place is a tradition among old-timers in Hoboken but if you have enjoyed steaks outside the Mile Square, you will not be impressed.

Service is so-so.

Oddly enough, the onion soup is pretty good.

Great steak. Great prices and service. Cheap drinks too. Only negative are the potatos. No options except for "Arthurs Potatos" Would much prefer fries or baked.

MOst amazing steaks I ever tasted. I live in NYC and its my only reason to come to jersey for food. Perfectly cooked everytime. Super Fast. If your worried about the wait time, use the side entrance ;) it does sometimes get loud because the bar is right by the dinning area, but the steaks are SOOOO GOOD, and SOOO CHEAP!!!. I mean I like 20$ for a steak that I would gladly pay $100 for. Decore is cheesy but your going there for the steak. THAT IS IT!!! Simply amazing
