I wrote that we enjoyed the chicken biscuit meal. We live out of state and we hope you would find it in your heat to e-mail me the recipe.

Thank you very much

Gloria

It took 10 minutes to get a menu, and when the waitress brought them she said sorry it took so long and started to tell us how much work she had to do. I really didn't want to hear her problems. Next, I ordered Ice tea with light ice, and when she brought it, it had at least 4 inches of ice in it. 14 minutes later the waitress came to take our order. I ordered the Ruben sandwich with the dressing on the side, and my husband ordered the special, Chicken Parmesean. The waitress didn't know it was to be served with breadsticks and a salad and offered him 2 sides. The waitress came back and asked me if I wanted corned beef or turkey on my sandwich, and I told her the turkey was a Rachel. 20 minutes later she brought my husbands food out. Mine came out several minutes later, but only the sandwich, not the fries I ordered. The dressing had been put on the sandwich and when I told her I had ordered the dressing on the side, she said sorry and left the table. My fries came out 5 or so minutes later. That was the last time our waitress came to our table until she brought us the bill. Won't be going back there again. Used to be a great place to eat, but now, not so much.

Our experience here was a complete disaster. It took forever for someone to come take our order. Not to be rude but our waitress was frightening in appearance and seemed very put out to do her job. She was waiting on a total of 3 tables and was constantly commenting and complaining to other patrons and employees about how busy she was. When she brought our drinks she set them down and tossed the straws on the table. She also omitted part of our order but we didn't go through the bother of saying anything because we were afraid of getting our heads bit off. In the 45 minutes we were there, our drinks were only refilled once and that was the only time anyone checked on us.

The only saving grace was that the food was good and priced reasonably.

This was a awful experience that frankly left me VERY embarrassed. I live in Des Moines and my family lives in South east Iowa. I had invited them to meet me at the Landmark for my son's 15th birthday.
There ended up being 13 of us eating supper together.I don't mean to be rude or impolite but the waitress we had was frightening. I think she had maybe 4 teeth and hair all over her face. We gave her our order which went alright but, the menu wasn't current so some had to keep changing their order because it was no longer available.
When our waitress came out she became flustered with whose salad and soup belong to who. She ended up setting them all in the middle of the table to fend for ourselves. She said I have other tables so grab what is yours, I got to go. Not everyone salad was there and they weren't right either.
When our food showed up it just kept getting worse. Several of the orders were wrong. My food was completely burnt and our waitress was out of line rude. When one of my guest corrected her on her what her meal was suppose to be the waitress barked back, "I know Mam I already know." Which if she did know why did she bring it out to her. Several of my guest just settled for what they were given in fear of how long it would take to correct it. The food was just as disappointing as the service.
You can only imagine how bad splitting up the checks was. It was a disaster!! She was constantly talking back to everyone and being very rude and reminded us often that she had other tables to take care of.
I have been a waitress myself and understand that things can become overwhelming at times but in NO WAY would you behave like that to a customer. I don't think our waitress should ever be in front of customers . I honestly believe she isn't mentally capable of her job. I'm not trying to be rude at all.
Strongly discourage anyone from going to this hell hole. Go across the street!!
