10/03/2013 - Vegan!
I went there last year with a group of 6. All vegans. We were all very delighted and happy with the meal itself and the service. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We all live in NYC and just found this place purely by accident. This year another group of us our coming out East again to go pumpkin picking and this is on our itinerary.

As a vegan, this place is a hidden and rare gem on Long Island! They have a full vegan menu (ask for it when you get there, they don't automatically give it to you) with a wide range of mock meat dishes. I've tried several and there are all delicious, but I love the General Tso's "Chicken" and the "Beef" with orange flavor. Definitely recommended!

My Family and I have been coming here since they opened about 15 years ago. We have never been disappointed. Our favorites are the crispy shredded beef, moo shoo pork and tofu soup. They are family operated and it is great to see them all work so great together. Our out of town family from Pa and Or loved it!

I ordered take out a Hunan Cottage on Friday, August 15th and had chikcen w/broccoli. Within one hour I was violantly vomiting and had diahrea all night long, into the next morning. I become dehydrated b/c I could not keep anything down that I had to go to the hospital. I was released that evening and still could not eat anything and remain that way until today which is 3 days later. I will not order anything from them again, in fear that it is not cooked or staff handling food did not clean their hands. It was the worst form of food poisoning I have ever had in my life. I wish you luck.
