very horrible greasy food, washrooms filthy, staff barely talk with you and ournot friendly, hardly speak english. i will never let anyone eat their at all. and the real owner joe chan denies being real owner.

I have never been disapointed with Cathay House. I took my wife and daughter their for dinner, left full, enjoyed the food and walked out with a 34 dollar bill. I don't know where in WInnipeg you can eat at a dinner buffet for 8.99 per person.
Oh and if you are a diabetic, mention it to your server for a complementary blood sugar lowering tea. It is very good and works wonders on your sugar levels.
You should realize one thing though. It is an $8.99 all you can eat buffet. You will get 30 selections. You won't have expensive items like shrimp or seafood in your selection. You will have chicken and pork.
But if you want really good Chinese food for less than it would cost to go to McDonalds or Burger King.then go to Cathay House..
