The Tamarack Inn is under new management since Nov 2018. Great place to eat!

We just ordered a to go order from this restaurant. The owner berated me for not leaving the waitress a tip for a to go order. I told him I've never in my life been asked for a tip for a to go order. He said he's considering doing away with to go orders because then the waitresses get the shaft and they do this job to make a living. I told him I will not be back and I will tell others to not eat there, and he said that's fine with him. I just read the previous review on this restaurant, and being in customer service, I can say, I'm betting this restaurant won't be around much longer with such rudeness out of the owner. Eat at Zik's, WAY better servce!

I have never met such rude people. After we ate and paid for our meal we we standing outside enjoying the view. The owner came outside and gave us our tip from the table back. He said not to insult his waitress like that. (we left more than 15%) Not sure what the waitress did that she deserved more than 15%. And the food was not all that great. I didn't want to know how rude the rest of the town was , so we decided just to leave. I thought this was very inconsiderate of the owner. Now days with the economy i would be happy just to get a tip. HOW RUDE!!!
