corn bread almost burnt served with funny tasting cole slaw for $33 a person

My husband and his golf buddies went to lunch. They had the chicken plate. They said the chicken was good and tasty. They went a second time and had the catfish lunch. He brought some home for me to taste. The catfish was well prepared, nice light crisp breading. No fishy taste at all. The corn bread he brought was very good, also. I would recommend them for lunch, everything tasted delicious. We would agree, pricing is high, lunch was around $9.00, including a soda. Other than that, he will go back.

Cost to much. Instant potatoes pre cooked chicken and soda that costs 1.99. No thanks

Save your money. service was so slow food nothing like the original and it cost over 75 dollars for 4 adults. $75.00 for tiny chicken pieces instant mashed potatoes all sides out of a can.. What a bummer. I was really hoping for a new place to eat near my home in Warrenton. O yea,, the rolls were so hard my mother-in law had to pass it to me so I could tear it in half for her.

Went on 10-25-11 and the food was just as good as it used to be. I agree with the first lady the potatoes are instant but everything else was just as good as it used to be. Glad to see they're back

Went there 10-26-11 and it was very good, just as good as it was in the past. All the food was good and hot, chicken was very good and the service was great. Wouldn't hesitate to go back

My family and I used to go to the original Big Boys. It was VERY good.
Saturday we went to the new location...my family and I were VERY excited that it had re-opened...we read about it in the paper.
We were SOOOO disappointed. Our meal was delivered in a timely/quick manner. This told me that the chicken was not cooked fresh. It tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The batter was not crunchy at all and the actual chicken cooled off very quickly.
The mashed potatoes tasted like run of the mill instant, not freshly made at all. The gravy was rather bland.
The only thing that was terrific were the rolls and cornbread. Hot and fantastic...YUMMY!
We thought we'd try a piece of pie, so we got apple and peach. The bottom crust was so tough that I couldn't even cut it with my fork. I had to use a knife...geez. Both pies were very bland and I wish they had tasted as good as they looked.
My family and I won't go back unless they step up their menu (which was only a two-sided affair) and cook the way it used to be.
