The El Rodeo has been one of our favorite restaurants for well over 20 years! The food is authentic and always freshly prepared and delicious! The waitstaff is well trained and knowledgeable about the entrees and items offered on the menu....The restaurant is always filled with adults... families....and children who are return customers and happy to return there.... there is no finer Mexican Restaurant in Bolivar than the El Rodeo Restaurant....I just love the delicious food and the authentic atmosphere! This is truly an American success story

This was probably once the best restaurant in Bolivar. Not anymore. Tasteless package mixed guacamole has replaced the fresh version once made from real avocado. Entire meal including chips and salsa no longer has that wonderful home made flavor that enticed me to dine at El Rodeo so often in the past. Sullen wait staff was just another disappointing change including having to wait an excessive amount of time at the register to pay. Workers looked up several times and saw me waiting at the register but turned away and continued to stand around talking to each other. Wow! What happened to this place? So disappointing since I love Mexican food and this restaurant could once always be counted on to deliver great meals and service. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
