The food is disgusting; the music is terrible; the service is ridiculous; the price is absurd.

Our family has long been regulars at Duc de Lorraine - every holiday our cakes are ordered, and most birthdays are celebrated with a custom cake. In recent years a lot of work has been done to improve the look, and menu offerings. You can enjoy a great cocktail on the terrasse, or even a romantic dinner in the evening. So many changes, the staff are always young, fast moving and happy to be there. The owner is kind, and often adds a few extra cookies to our plate - a perfect touch. It’s located right beside the Oratory, the view year round is outstanding. Well done Duc!

Long wait despite having a bunch of waiters and overpriced pastries.
2 pastries, 2 coffee and a bottle of water (which they served instead of regular water without asking) ...cost us about 30$.
Plus, another customer was complaining about how her coffee was cold.
Avoid at any cost since you can get better coffee and pastries nearby; Au pain doree & Premiere Moisson at the corner of the street and tons of coffee shop in the area.

The chocolatines and the croissant were definitely my favorites here! Saw the reviews first before coming here and wasn't disappointed. It's a nice romantic spot to drink coffee, eat delicious French pastries and read a book. The food and desserts are definitely A+. They have European style cappuccino as well to go well with the croissants. Next time I come here I must try the baguettes!

Wow.

The service here is OUTSTANDING! Trust me I lived in Europe for 3 years in Paris, and they are all snobbish and arrogant.
Here at Duc De Lorraine you get everything with outstanding service, incredible quality of their pastry and fabulous latte!
