In the course of ones life we all experience people and places that are more radially enshrined in our memories. Usually its the extremes whether good or bad that are engraved for future reference. Mid Field Café is one of the good ones for a host of reasons. To the point, the food is excellent - especially the breakfast menu. I had recently a steak bomb egg omelet which consisted of the base ingredients of steak & eggs but a host of other additions i.e onions, peppers, mushrooms, cheese. The combinations were a tasty delight. The pricing was very reasonable. The staff was friendly, courteous, and no time was expended waiting for service or for that matter the food itself once ordered. Being myself a pilot since early in the 80s, I have frequented the Café dozens of times and was always impressed with the décor within and the view of the runway without. Sandy, the owner, is attentive to her staff to ensure your bellies are filled with good things while enjoying the unique pleasantries of the surroundings. Go there once and she and her staff will convince you that you have been their friend all your life.

We've been going to this little place for years. Sandy does a great job and her staff are wonderful. We're glad to see they made it through the COVID-19 pandemic and did not have to close down like many other restaurants had. They have the freshest fruit and everything is done superbly. This is not your typical greasy spoon restaurant. They really do a great job here and the view of the airstrip is something to see if you're into aviation. There's been times where they were on a skeleton crew due to members either being sick or someone deciding to quit but Sandy's crew knows how to hustle and we are more than happy to tip them in excess of 20% every time we go. Nashua's best breakfast secret!

This place is great no matter what age you are. Good company, an Air strip, and good food. Have a stack of pancakes, or Kielbasa Omelet. Comes with a bottomless cup of coffee.
Sandy has you covered.

Went there on a saturday around 11 am the place was disorganized and when I asked if we sit where ever or wait to be seated and the person hardly spoke english and said yes to anything I said. When I finally sat with my family we waited 15 minutes to put our drink order. Our food came out wrong. My sandwich was made with the wrong meats and when I got it back minutes later there was a giant finger print. My sons food a pancake had chocolate on the plate .. Nothing we ordered for him had chocolate which concerned me that they used a dirty plate. The food was placed down and not even a minute later a check was dropped off by someone we had never seen before. The table next to use their food was all messed up and missing items. When I finally went in to speak to a manager cause the waitress did not come back at all, the manager was in the kitchen and said can you just call me later !!! I was so floored I walked out. Another man came out to speak to me. The waitress told me if I want good service to come back on mondays ... I will NEVER go back there! I brought my family there as a nostalgic reason. .It was my first job.. but I will never go back. 32 was refunded and a card given to me to call the manager when I want to discuss. I have nothing further dont go !

So, I've heard great things about this place. My sisters and I decided to try it today, the 4th of july. We walked in, immediately got told to sit wherever you wanted. Waitress came over with menus and took our drink order. She brought our drinks over, coffee and orange juices. The came back to take our order. I don't have a problem with young waitress.. but if they aren't trained properly then forget it. Our waitress clearly was not trained and had a BAD ATTITUDE. She started taking our order writing it in PINK PEN. She was NOT listening at all to any of our orders. She told me sister to repeat her whole order, which wasn't even complicated. Her handwriting was anything but legeble. When our food finally came, all of our breakfast came at least 5 minutes apart...I ordered 2 Belgian waffles.. I only got one..then the 2nd one came on a seperate plate which was given to my sister. My sister got her blueberry pancakes that she ordered which were in edible, burnt to a crisp and dry. My other sister got a cheese omelete with spinach, and when she cut into it all of this brown liquid came seeping out. We proceeded to eat, and try to stay positive. Meanwhile, our waitress never came over once to check on us. The owner yelled at her staff the whole entire time in front of the whole cafe. I'm almost certain no one was over the age of 18 cooking the food or waiting tables, which again, is not a problem, but they need proper training. When the waitress came over with the check, I almost had a heart attack at the price. $56.00 for 3 of us....so I waited for the waitress to come back, meanwhile we added up our meals because our waitresses handwriting was impossible to read. We both came up with $36, which is more realistic. The owner finally came over, and I politely explained to her that my sisters pancakes were burnt and she couldnt eat them, she offered us new ones but at this point we didn't want to wait any longer. She actually had the nerve to ask say "I don't understand what is wrong with the pancakes..." And she finally offered to take them off our bill. I then asked her to check the bill because I didn't understand how it could have been THAT much. She left, and came back. She assured me it was right and that "It was OUR fault that i t was so expensive because we ordered way too many individual things" Seriously? That is how you respond to your customers? We ordered a muffin..1 order or home fries and 1 order of hashbrowns.. thats "too many items" She then walked over to the counter and started talking about us to her staff. We heard it all. At this point, I was really getting mad. After she took the pancakes off the bill, it came to $47. Which is still high for a place like this that doesn't have a trained cook or decent homemade food. I know the muffins are from BJ's wholesale, and the pancakes/waffles tasted like mix. I will never come back here again, which is a shame because I like supporting local places, and I enjoy watching the planes.

Love this place! The food is great. The wait staff is great. But the best is certainly got to be the atmosphere. Its the only place I can take my 1 year old out to eat. The planes buzzing buy keep him interested. Puew...

We came here for Mother's Day and fortunately found an available table as we can tell it was very busy. The food is excellent and the view is very entertaining for my son. This is our first time but it will definitely not be our last! We plan to make it a regular thing since my son loves it so much!

visited the midfield the other day. Excellant place. Nice and small with a perfect atmosphere. Food was great for a diner and reasonably priced. Great view of the planes... perfect place to take the kids!

Great watching the small planes take off and land but the food is very average.
To attract other than the few people actually using the airport, they really need to theme and liven up the menu with something out of the ordinary.
This may sound pretentious for a diner but is not impossible - eg. the Littleton Diner in Littleton,NH has excellent food and atmosphere and signature corned beef hash to die for!
