We’re from Ontario, and spend the best part of the Summer in Bouctouche, it’s by far our favourite place to eat, never had a bad meal.

I can totally relate to the woman who got the wrong order. Happened 3 times. I just ordered the chicken finger platter the other day and the second time, the order was still wrong. Ordered a quesadilla today. A small amount ofcold limp fries and two small triangles with barely anything in it. It was good at one time. In fact enjoyable, large amounts of food and good service. I don't know what's going on over there but should vamp things up to what it used to be. They had such a good reputation. I don't know what the reason is for the bad service but it's a shame.

When it rains ...it pours
Went to place an order and the girl on the phone asked me to repeat the order three or four times as she could not understand English very well. They told me 20 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later to pick up, only to have to wait yet another 25 minutes.. I asked for 3 piece chicken dinner, (no thighs..orHips). So what did I get? Two out of three pieces were thighs...yuck. Tried to eat half of one and threw the other in the garbage.
Ordered XL burger and had to pay extra for cheese lettuce and tomatoe, which fine on the up charge, but not when you receive one small piece of tomato and a single piece of lettuce that did not even cover half the burger.
I ordered two drinks with my order, and was half way home when I realized, no drinks.
When I arrived back to the restaurant to get my drinks, they were all wearing their face masks as chin warmers, and proceed to try to serve me this way. One girl, didn’t even have a mask.
I am Going to the village restaurant from now on. THEY KNOW CUSTOMER SERVICE!! You will not get my money ever again!!!
