An Amazing, Authentic, Successful 35 Years plus French Restaurant with An Authentic French Flavor Atmosphere and Superior Impeccable French Food and Service. Unfortunately due to Owners Retirement It Closed its doors in October 2011. It was Located on Lexington Ave., corner to 28 street. The Food consisted of Classic Dishes Like Roasted Crispy Duck with Orange Sauce With a Touch of Gran Manier, New York Strip Aged Sirloin Steak with Pepper Sauce and a Touch of Cognac. Imported English Dover Sole Flown in Fresh Daily from Dover England. Appetizers were among Classic Pate , Escargots and Smoked Trout. Desserts were among Classic Peach Melba, Chocalate Mousse, Gran Manier and Chocolate Soufles. The Wine List Consisted a variety of wines from all over the Regions of France. The Atmosphere consisted of wealthy locals, customers that occasionally came from all over the U. S., NYC and the World ( Parts of Europe, Asia and Latin America). An inside Secret of the Restaurant was that for all over the years of success, many Famous People occasionally Dined There and always returned. This Secret Fact was only known by the locals, owners and the waiting staff. It was always kept a secret because the idea was that these famous Clients would eventually return and of course they always did. The Waiting Staff was Extremely Knowledgeable, Highly Educated and Trained by of Course the Owners Marcel and Raymond. Trained to their Standards. The Owners Marcel and Raymond were Very knowledgeable Successful French Businessmen from Brittany France. They both had different characters but both knew what was needed to make this 35 plus years old Authentic French Restaurant Successful. Indeed it was with Grace, Great Ambiance , Authentic Tasty French Food, an Exquisite Wine List, with Polite, Attentive, Reliable and Amiable Service.
