review_stars 02/01/2012 - My Sinatra and Sofia's make a great evenings entertainment
Audiences the HIT Off-Broadway show "My Sinatra" can enjoy a delicious prix-fixe meal of Italian fare upstairs in the restaurant, before or after the performance, as part of their ticket price: $105 premium and $85 general admission.

The “devil-may-care,” style and incomparable charm of Frank Sinatra surge through the microphone once again at Cary Hoffman’s “riveting” show, My Sinatra. This one man musical explores the sometimes strange, frequently hilarious, and always interesting life of Hoffman himself; A Sinatra idolizer with an unparalleled ability to channel the voice of Ol’ Blue Eyes. Throughout My Sinatra, Hoffman interweaves his personal tale of musical obsession with the star, telling his own hard to believe larger-than-life story, highlighting it with “mesmerizing” (The LA Times) performances of Sinatra’s greatest hits.

review_stars 05/04/2010 - Totally Rude (or, IF YOU LIKE RUDE, GO HERE!)
We spotted the menu on Restaurant Row and decided to try Sofia's between a day of NYC sightseeing and an evening show on Broadway. We were seated promptly and beverage orders were taken by an accommodating server. The service stopped there. The food was very good; not exceptional. Atmosphere was average. Prices were reasonable. SERVICE WAS DESPICABLE.
By the time our party of four adults received the entrees the service ended. Second beverages adn desserts were never offered. Shortly after we finished our entrees, the server stopped by the table with the tab in hand. When we asked about desserts, he seemed disappointed. It was obvious he wanted to whisk us away so he could seat the next party. At the end of dessert and coffee, two of the four people in our party used the restroom. To our disbelief, the other two people were asked to leave the table, so that it could be set for the next party. By the way, not that it should make a difference, our party spent less than the typical time in the restaurant -- we didn't linger, we weren't unruly -- we were just there to share an enjoyable dinner among four family members after a long day in the city. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers people TOTALLY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL TREATMENT, SOFIA'S is the place for you!

Nice find during annual Christmas Trip with my family.
Food was very good and waiters were friendly and very attentive.
The host was not friendly at all and was not very nice to staff as we heard him bossing them around. He never smiled and was just not what you would want hosting your restaurant. We were told he has been there a long time. Why we couldn't figure out as he was a misfit in a nice place to eat! Owner needs to review this host!
