I loved this little market/restaurant. Especially the food it was outstanding. I drove straight in from Sacramento. Ca. Found you on the Top #1 restaurants to visit while in Newark, Ca. It was perfect day also to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos with you all. I highly recommend this eatery. The Chili Verde plate was delicious, serving size enough for two people. Awesome food at reasonable prices ! Can't beat that been going here for 25yrs & hope to continue great to be so close to an awesome family business!

Good, fresh mexican food. The prices shown are an old menu but the value is still so reasonable. When we moved to Newark 21 years ago, we checked out the little mexican stores/cafes. The fact its been family run store makes it even more outstanding, they care and know their customers by name. From homemade tamales (they even have classes to learn to make them) to the delicase to the baked items, and more.... no comparison. There is also a small store if forgot something, cheese, fresh made tortilla chips, or beer. Thanks and we will see you again soon.
