Don't let any of the few negative , really over insignificant comments let you pass this place by. I have been going to Kundla's for 20 yrs. The line to get ribs is incredible at times but So...so .worth the wait!
Get over being critical , it's a Barb-Q, A Family and Friend taking place to go for a great experience.
Take a look around at the kid's shucking the corn to steam, The frosty mugs of root beer going by as your in line waiting. Watch the employee's flipping ribs and chicken and if they don't look extremely happy maybe they are HOT, have smoke in their eye's and are be glared at by everyone in line that's inpatient to eat those ribs.
It's suppose to be an experience as well as Great food. So enjoy the great ribs, chicken, corn , pickles , fries and salads. Smile yourself and be patient. The Kundla's and staff are very nice people , I thank them for the food and frosty mugs of Birch Beer. Yummy

Chicken was very good. No flavor in potato salad just eggs and potatoes. Pork ribs dry and meat tough needed to cook longer to loosen it up. Beans were good.

I have been going there for years I have all ways looking for there beef ribs I have not gotten them for three years and they have them on the menu and the staff with the kids went down hill very they stand around just chatting away with out asking if they can help you or ask if it to go or stay if they need to do some work it a chore for them

Been getting Kundala's since I was a kid, best BBQ ever. I now live in MD and every year come up several times to visit family and Kundala's. I've waited in line several times and it's always been worth it.

So it's been a good while since I've been to kundalas and now I remeber why. The ribs are just not good and the BBQ sauce , let's say is just not so great either . We couldn't really even eat the ribs as they were tough and hard to chew . Yuck I knew standing in line as they were cooking that they were probably not going to be good as they are cooked on an open grill allowing all the flavor and moisture evaporate into the air . Not cooked enough or in the proper way . Baked beans taste as if they are out of a can and the cole slaw very Runny.

Saturday night long wait over an hour to get good tasting ribs but not fall off the bone tender. Four halls of chicken that was not done , even the cooks were surprised. The corn on the cob was great , potatoe salad was very bland as was the macaroni was bland also.
Don't believe the hype and use caution if one you eat the chicken and two of you have to drive far to get there. It's just not worth the trip of over an hour to wait over an hour to get SO-SO food.

Great food! People say that the workers are rude and robotic, but they don't understand how many people they have to serve and how fast paced they have to work.

This place is AWESOME!!! Totally old school! The ambiance is great! Ribs and chicken are delicious! Cooked to perfection!! Their homemade salads and rice pudding are to die for! I would recommend this to anyone who is craving BBQ.

My wife & I went here a few weeks ago... We never knew about it. We were out riding with the pack, and one of our biker bros suggested it. First of all.... They were cash only... no credit cards... After we got our food, we then had to go stand in line at the ice cream place next to it to get drinks.... waiting in line twice sucked. We got the ribs with fries... AWESOME!!! A few of our bro's got the chicken... No body really cared for the chicken... Nice place, tables outside, not overly friendly, but not rude either.... We're going back with the kids today!!!

I don't know nothing about rude here... I was treated so well it was a breath of fresh air... I showed up wanting some take out... Wasn't sure where to get it so I asked a gentleman and he didn't hesitate... He was kind and warm and very friendly... He also explained that take out is normally called in ahead of time... WAY ahead of time because of the amount of people they serve... I could for sure understand that because the place was packed... He took me to the one end of the line and got one of the girls to take care of my every need... She was nice and kind as well and not at all rude or upset by me throwing a wrench into the works... lol The only issue I might have had with my whole experience there was they don't take plastic... So I had to run across the street and get some... Again the young lady was not upset to wait while I did this nor did she say anything rude about it...Believe you me the food is worth the small hike across the street... lol Next time though I will bring cash and sit down at one of the many tables and enjoy my meal fully... The smell it filled my car with on the way home was almost to much to take... My mouth watered and I wanted to pull over and just have a little nibble... Still I waited till I got home... :) In the end all I have to say about my short time there was nice people who are very busy and food to make my tummy VERY happy... MMMMMMMM YUM YUM YUMMY!!!

Food in my opinion was great...customer service not so much....almost robotic.....but you get the feeling they dont think they are rude..kind of funny actually...lol

VERY RUDE AND UNHEPFUL WHEN CALLED just to ask what they serve and approximate prices BC was taking a 15 yo old and all his friends n parents wanted to know approx. How much to give them I was told by employee too difficult to do that, would take to much time and no time
