What a horrible experience! They made my son and I wait for half an hour to get seated and then an incredibly rude waitress, Judy, came over and told me that I needed to take my kid outside because he was upset and crying. He was obviously bored and hungry and she didn't offer to get him anything to eat or color with. She was an absolute b-tch to me when I made it clear that she was being rude and I decided to just leave because the staff was clearly not going to be very friendly. When I called to ask to speak to the owner, the same waitress refused to give me their info, even though she made it clear that she doesn't think she did anything wrong. My son and I both left in tears and she laughed about it. THIS IS NOT A FAMILY-FRIENDLY RESTAURANT!

I've been to this restaurant a few times n I love their food n service. Till today, June 24, 2016.
The food as usual was delicious, but the service was lousy. I was with my husband n daughter. We were seated n we waited. I saw a waitress went to the group that was behind us n took their order. I waited patiently. She passed us n went to the counter. I called one of the waitresses n let her know we were ready. Both waitresses told us to wait. Finally a male waitress took our order. N we waited.
Three groups that came behind us got their orders n they are while we waited. I asked the waiter if our order was about done n he said that they were working on it. I let him know that we came before 3 groups, but they were already eating. He said they had smaller orders than us. That wasn't true.
I waited for a good half hour before they served us our food. By then, I wanted to leave, but my husband said to just wait.
I lost my appetite by that lousy service. We didn't finish the food. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but the way they carried out their service destroyed it for me.
We got there before 10am n didn't leave until almost 11:30am.
I left as a very disappointed customer.

This place has some of the best food at such a great price. The staff is very prompt, friendly, and make you feel like your at home. with a little cosmetic upgrades to create a better atmosphere they have the potential to be one of the best places in Portland. If your looking for a great value and good food with a warm friendly enviroment this is the place to go.
