We bought clam cakes and chowder. The chowder was way too salty and very thin. Clam cakes were also too salty. What a disappointment! This is the second time we've been disappointed. Waste of money!

Went to Lindys today for lunch. Arrived at 1220 ordered by 1225 and didn't get food until 105. My husband and I ordered burgers mine was suppose to be med with fries and his was suppose to be med well, they both were well well done, didn't have time for them to remake. Worst burgers I ever had, couldn't even finish the burgers.

Lindy's Is one of my most favorite places. The new Lindy's is as good as the old Lindy's. The staff is always pleasant helpful and cheerful. The food is very delicious and you get way more than you pay for. Depending on who's at the fryolator, once in a blue moon you can get a soggy clam cake.
But in overall the best clam cakes eva.
The new Lindy's could use a bit of acoustic accents. It can be a bit noisy.
The outside functions are great. Plenty of parking. But can fill up quick.
I try to go at a reasonable time.
But if not. It's worth the wait.
I highly recommend this place.

Went here for first time on 7/15/2021 and loved it!! Extensive menu choices, great prices and large portions! I had chicken salad sandwich with fries, hubby had raw bar and calamari!
SO DELICIOUS!! Definitely new favorite place to go....also live that it's biker friendly too.

Hubby is from RI. We read about it on a fb page, (I had never been) he forgot about it-he went in the late 70
s when he was a teen with friends, and said "its a small bar place", people on the fb foodie page kept talking about so we went! We live in MA border of RI. We went for lunch (at 1pm) on a Tuesday, place was PACKED!! Great food, so many people (which I am happy to see, people are living their lives and are OUT socially, so it was well worth the wait! We had stuffies and shared the seafood platter. AWESOME!!!
We went again last night at 830 on a Wed pm, again PACKED, again so happy to see the crowd and people out with families, couples, living their lives, LOVE IT! I am french onion soup (snob) and let me tell you, hard to please me when it comes to this soup-it is EXCELLENT! Hubby had the crispy* version of Fish & Chips, the fish is fresh and was delicious, best best homeade french fries, again love fresh cut potatoes then they are made into fries, hate frozen anything. Again yum!!!! Had a drink, I had a gin and tonic at lunch the first time, fantastic, had a cape codder last night, they don't buy the real deal on the juice, (ocean spray) so that won't happen again. People have to stock their bars with quality juices, the retail consumer and people who love their favorites-can tell. I saw "giant" lobster rolls last night, so I am not sure what when on with the last consumer rating! There aren't many great places to eat these days close around the area (we always travel) to eat...but this one is a sure place!!

Been going to Lindy's since it opened and it's always been one of my favorite places to go. A lot of good food and a lot of Great Sea food but things have really changed a lot. Looks like a big problem with Staff a lot of New Faces and they don't last very long. We sat at the bar Sunday and it was not even half full at 2.00 p.m. and the two bartenders couldn't keep up and the Restaurant was only half full also. It started to get busy before we left and it was a Nightmare. A Father and son complained about there food was cold and sent it back and the same thing three Seats down from us. I hope Ron gets back soon because I hate to see a place go down the tubes and when the Word gets out things are bad there now that's all it takes to ruin a good place

The food was totally gross drowned in oil waitress took full plate didn’t even ask what was wrong never again suggested to cook at home or go elsewhere. Went to submit ask for rating have to click on one but I’d say zero

They changed the size of the King lobster roll overnight and still charged us full price.
It used to be a massive amount which you had trouble getting down. Now it is a snack. Then the jerky manager played dumb saying it has always been that size.
I know what I ate in the past (a week ago!) and this tiny lobster roll ain't it! Don't you love when they call you a liar!!!

we travel a half hour to get there. we enjoy their food, and there is plenty of it. i always order their red chowder. after the red chowder, comes the fish and chips. very good and reasonably priced. the only draw back is the noise factor. very, very noisy !

Incredible food and the prices are even more incredible! The food is great and the value and plate size is greater! For anyone who might have customers, I don't normally bring them to Lindy's due to the louder than average setting. On the other hand if you have a customer that you'd like to entertain with good drinks and live entertainment then you might consider Lindy's. The new location is much more spacious and the entire operation (including the kitchen) is very clean. I tend to be a bit overboard with cleanliness as one of my pet peeves but......you can never be "Too" clean where you eat! ;)
Overall rating is an A and I travel extensively and have many other businesses to compare it to and Lindy's is one of the top 10 in RI. Enjoy!

They are a very busy place so I call Lynn for takeout in the last two times they would tell you 20 minute wait turned into a 45 minute wait not good

Lindy's is one of my Husband and my favorite places to eat.
They food is always good and the staff is always friendly.
My Husband loves the prime rib.
They have popcorn too that is always fresh!
We have sat at the high top table and have shared our table with two others and it has always been a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

The facility is basically very small and crowed bar where you have to find a tight spot and wait out a place to sit. In my opinion, the crowding and wait are worth dealing with because the food is really good, wait staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. You can sip a beer and watch games on the screens while waiting. There is a reason that the place is packed; good food.

The food may be good but the experience not so much. Waited over 40 minutes and when are name was called they tried to seat us at a high top table. These tables are so close together you are literally sitting 2 inches near other people and the chairs are hard to get on. We asked for a low top but it was going to be another 30 minutes. If you like waiting by all means go but we will never step foot in that place again.

Have been a number of times and have always been satisfied. From sandwiches to chowder and clam cake to full meals it has always been good food.

Went out to eat with friends and I got the special which they said was Sea Scallops with Panko Breadcrumbs. I had Red Chowder with it to start. The chowder had good flavor, but was way too salty. Then came the big disappointment. The FAKE Sea Scallops with broken crackers on top. They didn't even taste like Scallops. Too big to be Bay Scallops and too small to be Sea Scallops, plus no taste. They looked like they were punched out of a fish with a mold. The Brussels Sprouts were mushy and seemed like they were frozen. I didn't even bother eating the baked potato. That is the worst meal I have had in a long time and I will never be retuning to Lindy's. After I heard somebody else say their food used to be good but isn't anymore and they weren't going back either.
