I waited almost 2 hours for my food. When I got the food it was not good at all! I am so disappointed.

They almost had me as a satisfied regular customer. A couple days after my first time eating there I wanted more...this time I wanted to catch the lunch special since I got there too late last time which advertise an entree two sides and a roll for 5.99 the regular priced meal is 10.99. So first im told I cant have bbq chkn and I was told my meat options ..fine I'll get fried chicken forget about my diet...then I was told I couldnt get the side I wanted and when I asked how much extra to change my side im told it'll be 10.99 to change my side...so not only are they falsely advertising specials but they're not valuing their customers and until they do they will remain a lil small -ss business in the hood making money off people's government checks. And apparently whoever the gay sounding guy was that answered the phone was getting frustrated with my logical questions concerning the menu and prices. All I wanted was to order some decent food...they should have been grateful I dialed their number...never again. I cook better anyway.

I eat there all the time. There's a sparse dining area, we always get take out. Awesome wings!! My man likes the collard greens and black eyed peas. Definitely worth the trip!

I've been to this place on more than one occasion and the food is,"TERRIFIC!" I do not care what others say about their food because you have to be the judge for yourself. The food is great and so is the service. All nay Sayers were wrong!!!

The food is excellent but the service could be faster.

Heard a lot of talk about this place so I decided to give it a try. Good food. Bought a bologna burger with fried onions, lettuce and tomatoes with some onion rings on the side. My God!!! what a sandwich. The Burger was nice and thick not to mention sloppy just the way I like it and the rings were off the hizzel. I was really surprised at the size of the Burger and the amount of onion rings that they give you. It's well worth the price and I will highly recommend this establishment to any one seeking some good ole down home cooking. On the down side, The wait is a little long for orders. I would strongly suggest calling in a head of time and allow at least 30 to 45min.

I ordered the large pork rib dinner with candied yams and cabbage with a side of rice pudding. I must say the cabbage (very bland) and rice pudding (very dry and too much nutmeg) wasn't good BUT the ribs and candied yams were delicious! I would go back and recommend - just not the items i didn't like.
