Horrible manager disrespectful will never eat there again. Food was cold some was dry only half of our party of 15 had good food. Waited forever and the manager has no customer service I gave recording of this experience with her.

I just went there to eat. First they claimed they didn't have our reservation. Then they didn't bring any salsa out until I told them we needed some. The older server was very rude & the cook was just an -ss. (This was for a group of over 30 people.) They just did a horrible job! If you want good service & food make the drive to Ogden!

I appreciate the way they work with us to feed our gluten free daughter. The corn chips and salsa are GF and they are willing to substitute things so she can eat a whole meal.

When the food is good, it's very good, but sometimes it isn't. My husband and I especially like their cheese enchiladas and refried beans.
The last time we ate at El Matador, the service was excellent. I also like the fact that they don't play loud, pop music. I like to be able to converse without shouting. El Matador provides that plus a warn, Mexican colonial ambience.
Caveat: on busy nights, be prepared to wait to be seated.
