Lived in Ocean Beach in the late 70’s and ate at Square Pan in Ocean Beach a lot. You couldn’t beat the Square Deal, two slices of pepperoni pizza salad and a drink for I think $1.99.

Used to eat the combo deal at the location in Ocean Beach, CA back in the late 70’s. So good and so affordable. I think two large slices plus salad and drink was only $1.59. Whatever happened to Strawhat Pizza. It was pretty good too.

I started working at Square pan pizza in La Jolla , Ca. When I was 16 yrs old ( I'm 56 now) . The " Square meal deal", we sold hundreds a day. Their special creamy Italian salad dressing was bomb, we even used it on the subs. I LOVED their subs! We had alot of good times working there. The Company had a HUGE Christmas party for its employees. Gosh.... I REALLY miss that place!

Just love the combo deals they had. Soda, 2 slices of pizza, and a salad. I now live in FL. I miss them so much...Great pizza, and great staff too.

I have Nothing but Great Child/teenage memories of Square Pan Pizza...There was on at The College Grove Mall in San Diego CA😍 Soo like more than 30 yrs ago Lol 😋👀😁 That type of Delicious pizza left an Everlasting Impression❤😍🙌 Its soo nice knowing that You are still in business😌😉

I used to work at the parkway plaza mall in elcajon, .ca and I would go to the one there every day for lunch, great pizza! Now I live in mesa, as. But I miss that great pizza!

I used to work for square pan pizza in Northwest Mall in Houston Texas..I worked my way up from dishwasher to Asst Manager.. Fun times there.

This is truly the BEST pan pizza out there. Period. Hands down. Don't even think about raising your hand. If you raise your hand one more time I'll blow it off!
This pizza is a San Diego original and tastes WAY better than Straw Hat or Woodcarvers Pizza.
I enjoy ordering a pizza from the SDSU location, taking it home, and watching Dan Fouts kick the you-know-what out of the Raiders.
Do yourself a favor and quit eating pizza from those cardboard box places and try a real pie from Square Pan.
