Visited Bazil’s for the first time tonight. It was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and we brought home enough leftovers for another meal. I was pleasantly surprised that the entrees came with a fantastic antipasto salad and soup! Not many places offer that anymore. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m eager to try more of their dishes! We ate their toasted ravioli, filet mignon, cannelloni, fettuccine Alfredo and spaghetti. They were all great! I only wish they served manicotti…my favorite Italian dish. Their dessert menu was small and didn’t include crème brûlée, our favorite, so we skipped that, but overall we were impressed and will be back!

After having Bazil's to go pizza for over 5 years, and we drive from Oro Valley, the last 2 times have been a true disappointment. The usually wonderful tasty pizza tastes like cardboard, and dry....Holy Cow...awful. What the heck is going on?

I ordered spaghetti and meatballs for 14.95. The portion was small, not even a piece of garlic bread. Not really impressed, overpriced for the product.

Bazil's is my favorite Italian restaurant for the last 30 years! The atmosphere is so cozy. Food delish and the service excellent. Very classy and the food really spectacular!! I always bring my friends from out of town for dinner at Bazil's and so far everyone has been impressed and happy and very satisfied. Always a great experience! Love it!!!

I've been taking my family to Bazil's for the last year or so. I always make reservations. The last time we went the hostess saw me waiting and completely ignored me. After finally raising my voice and getting her attention, she acted like she was put out that I should distract her from whatever she was doing. She asked me if I would like a booth and I said yes and she started to seat me when another customer came up all bent out of shape because he said that in his reservation he had specifically requested the booth I was being seated at! The hostess at that point told me that I would have to sit a at table instead. When my family and I were finishing up our meal the bus boy started clearing the table, a little prematurely actually! We were having to look around the guy as we were conversing and he obviously didn't care. I felt like we were getting the Bum's Rush to get out so that the table would be ready for the next customer. The whole experience was very frustrating. I Won't Go Back...

The owner was so pleasant and helpful to two out of towners that we went back a second night of our 3 night trip to Tucson!! The food was amazing and the service was top notch! Thank you Max for an amazing pizza and taking such great care of us!!
We heard about this place while making a Safeway stop for some hotel snacks.... And we will make a trip to Tucson again just to see Max and have his amazing pizza!!!

We've been frequent customers of Bazil's now for about 8 months. We eat there 4-5 times each month. I always order the same thing-tortellini with cream sauce. Tonight, I ordered it again and it was TERRIBLE. The sauce was bitter and tasted like vinegar and the mushrooms were not fresh. My fiance ordered the same thing and had the same issue. We sent the meal back after two bites each. We were still charged 28.56 for salad and soup. The menu clearly lists "soup and salad accompany each entree". We asked to speak to a manager and were told "my mother in law tasted what you sent back and said it was fine". When I explained I had ordered the same thing almost every week for 8 months and there was definitely something different, the manager said "do you expect to come here and just eat for free?" My fiance told her that was ridiculous and it seemed that a family owned restaurant would have better customer service. The owner then told my fiance he "should take a look at himself." Needless to say we won't be going back and obviously our business isn't important to this restaurant.

Bazil's was thee worst experience we have had in Tucson dining. The staff, including the manager, was rude, uninformed, and lacked basic hygiene. It took calling the manager to our table to get a clean spoon. She had to search the restaurant and finally found one covered in spots instead chunks of food. My seafood dish stunk like dead fish and my husband's basic Italian fettuccine was overwhelmed by the wine sauce. Between the two, the aroma was worse than a dead drunk who drowned in his own fish stick vomit. We attempted to struggle down a couple of bites, but our faces caught the attention of the busboy. The manager shrugged her shoulders as though our lack of interest in her sub-par fare was our fault. The supposedly famous sauce we tasted in the appetizer could not stand up to the horrific service, indifference, and sad, sorry, sickly excuse for fine dining. Do yourself a favor and skip the waste of money by NOT trying Bazil's.
