There is nothing to recommend this place, over priced food delivered in a haphazard fashion by rather careless staff, noisy, crowded, with the ambiance of a bus station cafeteria. If you really want Japanese food, try Yummi Japan, better food, lower prices, and much friendlier staff-the bathroom is cleaner, too. As for the chef show, go once for the experience but be warned,, it is mostly just noise.

Great food. Great price. I don't know what that one lady was ranting about but the food was spectacular. It's not going to deter me from going there again. The cook was amazing. They did like a little show for us. Their soup is wonderful and so was their egg rice.

My husband and I have visited several times and have had a good experience each time except one. But that did not keep us from returning. Their sushi is the only available in our area that I know of and we find it very good. We've had better sushi in the Northern Virginia area but the population supports the quality. The one negative experience we had was similar to what another reviewer mentioned here. We were with a large group that was having hibachi and sushi and some of the sushi did not arrive to our table before we were all finished with our hibachi. The staff was apologetic but reminded us that they were busy. It still didn't seem that part of an order would arrive without the other half but none-the-less, they removed it from the bill and were gracious about the fact we were upset.
I will still recommend this establishment because their food is good and we want to keep the availability of good sushi in our area. Although my husband is teaching himself to make sushi so I'm looking forward to that!

Never had a bad experience, the service is great and the food even better. The sushi is fresh and the hibachi food is wonderful. They are usually very busy Friday and Saturday nights but the grill presentations are better on weekends so if you want a show that's when to go. Lunch can be slow so plan accordingly or come when you have more time to really enjoy yourself. Tables offer a more intimate feel for dates, the sushi bar is great if you don't want hibachi, and the grill is great for bigger parties. (BTW we are regulars and the service gets even better once they get to know you.)

My husband and two friends went to this restaurant last evening. We had received a gift certificate and took two of our friends with us to dinner. We had heard that this was a wonderful restaurant and had wanted to try it. Well, were we shocked! The waitress did not know what vegetables they were serving, with the exception of broccoli. We ALL ordered and, when our food came, only three dinners were served and the waitress left. We waited for the fourth dinner, thinking that she couldn't carry all four dinners. Finally, one of us got up and went to the waitress and asked about the fourth dinner. The waitress stated that we had only ordered three dinners. We told her otherwise, and she said she would get the other order. We checked with the waitress several times and she stated that they were very busy, which was not true. There were not that many people there. Finally, after about 30 minutes, we got the fourth dinner. She did say she was sorry, but it wasn't too convincing. Needless to say, we were not very happy.
I know this review will probably not get published on your website, but wanted you to know that we will never come to this restaurant again and will also tell all our friends about the terrible service we received.
