First time I tried the location on Henderson Hwy. I found with a really nice authentic restaurant.The guy in cash register is very friendly and if you ask for anything about the menu, he will explain it to you. Food is good and at a decent price.
I really liked the Barbacoa Burrito (shredded beef) which is one of the best burritos I have ever had also I loved the guacamole and taco chips. Will visit again JC's on Henderson to try their pupusas

What can I say? It was s severe disappointment. The prices are ridiculously high -so overpriced... the owners must really think that there food is truly worth it. Um, reality check - it really isn't.
-Mediocre Mexican food
-High prices
-Gross interior/decor
-Dirty
$14.99 beef enchilada - NO CHEESE
$1.75 add cheese
= $16.74 plus tax for one mediocre beef enchilada add/ cheese, NO side rice, NO side beans
I'm not overweight - i'm a guy... I left hungry. I refused to order more crap because it was NOT worth it.
I was so shocked.
**Just because Winnipeg is lacking in the Mexican restaurant department does NOT give this joke of a restaurant the right to trick Winnipeggers that this is good quality/valued Mexican**
Avoid this dump - period.
