North End Inspired Pizzeria, Deli, Bakery & Cafe.

I love Valentino’s. I am originally from Massachusetts and there is a Bakery in every corner of the city of Revere and not far from the NorthEnd and all the towns in between. I can’t find many Italian bakeries in Nashua. Als Valentino’s sauce is homemade and the pizza is so good. Please hurry back. We miss you

Ordered 2 sandwiches, turkey club and chicken parm. Bread on club was very, very dry. 2 slices of limp bacon. Club was good size but tasteless. Parm, what can be said. The roll and sauce were excellent but the chicken wasn't very good. It was a long wait for the order. Don't know why, it wasn't very busy. Won't be going back.

food is good, but make time for the wait

We always end up here for a great meal made quick, especially when we dont feel like driving to Boston for authentic pastries. Boars Head subs and VERY good pizza makes this place one of the best around. They also deliver which is an added bonus.

Have been in a few times. The first time I got an italian sub for $6.95, and it was enormous. Prior to them making it, I saw the deli workers slicing the cold cuts fresh. Sooo good.
The pizza is also great. They label it as 'North End Inspired', and I can see why.... The sauce has a crushed tomato tasted to it. Its not loaded with spices. And the crust is nice and crispy. Definitely one of the top pizzas in town.
The third time I came in, had chicken alfredo with penne which was surprisingly good. The decor is very inviting. Has an italian North End pizzeria/cafe feel, including brick pizza windows inside, yet modern with tv's and wifi. They offer some italian groceries, coffee, and breakfast. Also, the salad bar and bakery look great, but have not tried those yet. Best of all, they deliver - which is something not a lot of places do.

My wife and I ate at Valentinos Market last week amidst Christmas shopping. What a great find. They are in the old Sky Market location. This is basically a pizzeria, yet they have restaurant items the same as their full service restaurant in Hudson. They also kept some of the convenience store aspect of the old Sky Market like for example, you can buy milk, beer, some grocery, and lottery.
This location is more cafe-esque, as you seat yourself and order at the counter, like a normal pizzeria. They also have a pretty unique appetizer offering, like Arrancini (rice balls), and something called bocci balls, which are their meatballs wrapped in dough, and cooked. We did not get these, but the table next to us did, and they looked tremendous.
Their menu also had some american items like burgers, steak tips, and of course, a whole section of subs and sandwiches.
We both got meals and split a pizza. I got the Chicken Marsala for $12.95. My wife got the Chicken Parmigiana, also for $12.95. Both served over penne pasta. The food was amazing! My marsala was as good as any restaurant I've dined in, and my wifes chicken parm was delicious! This why its tough to describe this place, because it looks like a pizza shop, but the food is like a restaurant. You could tell they weren't lying when they say all their food is fresh. Definitely was not a chicken parm dinner consisting of bagged sauce and frozen chicken fingers like some area pizza places. This is the real deal. It is restaurant quality, at a fraction of the price of the italian restaurants down the road, and the food is as good or better in my opinion.
We split a Margherita pizza. This came out with slices of fresh mozzarella, crushed tomato sauce, and basil. Again, delicious. Reminded me of some pizzas I've had in NYC. Their pizza menu featured the typical you would expect at a pizzeria, but also had some specialties, including one with chicken cutlet which we will have to try next time!
Would be remise if I did not mention the bakery. Two glass cases full of italian pastries. We split a 'lobster tail', which was a big pastry shell, filled with a creamy ricotta filling. Price was $7, but it could feed three people easy.
All in all, this place to me is a hidden gem because it is close enough to Daniel Webster Highway, yet not quite there, so there is no traffic. There was a sign that said they also deliver, which is great (live 5 minutes away).
For anyone looking for a great pizzeria, deli, or italian restaurant/cafe, this is the place to go.
