This is our favorite pizza place in Nashua. If you like NY/NJ pizza then you will love this place. We've only gotten take-out and so far only pizza but we're looking forward to checking out their other items soon. Their meatball pie is fantastic.

My friend and I visited Pizzico on a Saturday afternoon two weeks ago. We were pleased to find out they had a happy hour menu. We sat at the bar for what we thought would be just one martini and ended up staying until after 7:30! The bartender told us about their appetizers specials and we ordered their new shrimp cocktail. It was great and best of all at a happy hour price! The martinis were large and very good. The service was great and all the staff were friendly towards us even when they got busy. We shared a chicken parmesan dinner and it was good and plenty for the both of us.
I look forward to going again.cavi

very good food, nice atmosphere - easy spot to meet people. Pizza was very tasty, and NOT dripping in oil like some other places - also very clean which is important to me when I'm eating someplace!

Not impressed one bit. Maybe I am out of touch?? I had 2 martini's and a 10" pizza. $34!!!!
The pizza was supposed to be a grilled chicken pesto. There was NO CHICKEN on it. I told the waitress and she looked at me like I had 2 heads. I said,"I ordered a chicken pesto pizza and there is not chicken on it". First thing out of her mouth was "Yes, Ma'am, that is a new pizza on the menu." She had a very strong accent. Not sure what it was. Then, she came back and said they were wrong and making me a new pizza. I was hungry and I had already eaten 1/4th of the sh-tty pizza. I tried to tell her it was okay and that I was staying in a local hotel, but, she said they were making me a new pizza and she would pack it to go.
Really, one was bad enough. Doused with salt and crushed red pepper, it was edible.
Now, about the $10 martini's. I have thought for a long time that the Manchester/Nashua/Milford area is just a suburb of Boston now, I am POSITIVE of that. $10 ea for martini's? ummm We are in a recession. I know I would never go back there again. Give me Bertucci's anytime.
I don't get to frequent restaurants often, so, when I do, I like to be treated like everyone else. I was alone and had to wait forever for service. Finally, when she took my drink order, I gave her my dinner order also. You know the rest.
If I wasn't in a hotel room, I surely can cook as well or better myself.

Overpriced and overrated.

This review is for the Merrimack NH establishment. My last two visits there have been very customer unfriendly. The food is excellent but the managerial/staff decisions definitely not helpful nor friendly. A gift card I received at Christmas ran into a computer glitch which from what I was told,, a recognized problem with a number gift cards purchased in Dec. 2007. In other word, this wasn't the first time a customer faced this problem. I was held up for almost 20 minutes while being interrogated how much the certificate was for, if I had receipts and "We'll have to take your word for the amount, etc.:: while the waitress and manager had a conference via phone. I had an amount left over from the bill and was told I had to wait some more to be re=issued a new card, etc. I was made to feel like I was trying to con the restaurant..So I walked out in disgust leaving the difference of about $9 jut to put an end to public humiliation.. Needless to say, this being the second unpleasant visit quibbling over money at this restaurant, my friends and I do not intend to patronize Pizzico restaurants anymore although we went there about every two weeks..
It is not my intention to be appeased by a free meal as an apology;Just treat your customers with a bit more respect, please.

We used to go to the one in Nashua and we loved it! The food is excellent! When they opened one in Merrimack (where we live) we were so excited! The food is delicious!

My family and I frequent both of these locations often. The food is absolutely wonderful, and there is something on the menu for everyone....There are always new specials and they have never disappointed me. If you want authentic Southern Italian cuisine this is the place to go.

I go there at least once a week. The food is always great, very traditional Italian cousine.

One of the better Italian restaurants in the area. It looks (from the outside) to be a pizza joint, but the menu and the food quality is very good. The food is a bit lighter than your typical family Italian eatery - no heavy sauces - but it's well prepared and good quality ingredients.

Best Italian restaurant in Greater Nashua hidden by pizza-joint-seeming name and outside looks of restaurant. Eggplant parmigiana is excellent.

Pizzico is a wonderful restaurant with delicious fare. We first only bought pizzas here when we lived nearby- and they never failed to please.

Soon we began eating in the dining room and trying the other Italian fare Pizzico has to offer. We were quite surprised. (Oh, the Italian Wedding soup is the BEST!!!)

Pizzico offers many dishes on par with some of the 3- and 4-star restaurants in Boston's North End- for about half the price (and none of the travel and parking headache!)

Almost every dish we have ordered was large enough to save some for lunch the next day. We're "average" eaters, so I think the portions at Pizzico were more than adequate, without being overwhelming. One definitely gets value for their dollar in quality and portion.

The wine list could use some improvement, but that doesn't affect my rating at all, just a note.

The guys in the pizza kitchen are really fun, too. They know our family's "usual" order and last name- and we don't even go there that often! That's a nice touch, and it makes us feel a little more special. Which is what the restaurant business is partly about.

Pizzico just gets it right. We've never had a less-than-pleasant or bad experience here in 7 years.

Nice restaurant for dates, family, special occasions.

I would classify this as my favorite Italian in Nashua. The food is very flavorful and the atmosphere is great, especially since they have expanded. I don't think you can go wrong here!

I can think of only one better place for italian in Nashua. Food here is very good, my only problems have occasionally been with the service.
