I too have been going to Tang's for a long time. As a native San Franciscian used to GOOD Chinese food, this is the only place in Nashville I have found that measures up. It looks like they have closed and the phone is disconnected. Antioch has gone downhill and if they could only relocate I am sure they would do well. I will miss them and wish them the best if indeed they have closed permanently. I noticed the fishtanks were gone already.

I have eaten at Tang's for 20 years. They are by far my favorite chinese restaurant. I am concerned/worried though. I drove by last night for dinner and they were closed. I contacted another business in the shopping center and they stated they have been closed all week. I hope they haven't closed down after all these years. I tried to call them but the phone has been disconnected also. So if anyone has any info please email me: bigjay1974@gmail.com

This has been our favorite restaurant for at least 5 years now. It's easy to pass by- it's in a little shopping strip on a hill and kind of out of sight. But don't pass it by! Excellent food, quiet atmosphere because they're never busy, great service. It's just the owners and sometimes one more waiter. They have take-out or dine-in, no delivery. Great prices, so we order an extra entree for leftovers. They have a huge menu, and I'm pretty sure they'd make anything if you asked. They recently changed their hours and are now closed Sundays, and seem to close for even minor holidays (bad for me, good for them since the owners work everyday that Tang's is open).
I LOVE supporting a private restaurant instead of a big chain, but really it doesn't matter- I'd go there for the food no matter what.
