If i could I would give it a negative 5 review. Just had lunch and had the worst experience of our lives. My family waited over 45 minutes for our first order and still didn't get the food we ordered on that. The second round of sushi we waited over 40 minutes before we saw 1 roll we ordered of many but never got the rest of it. The manager refuses to come talk to us and hide in the back. Our order was $160 and we all left hungry bc we couldn't get the food we ordered. We tried to get at least some dessert to go for our kids and they refuse to even compromise on that telling us that there in nothing they can do for us. The restaurant wasn't busy and yet we had to wait a very long time to even get a few rolls of 2 full rounds of sushi that we tried to ordered. My family will never return to tomos bc of the very poor treatment we got from them. We felt as though we were discriminated by tomos and they don't even care about children or families. I would rather buy sushi from Wal-Mart then eat sushi from tomos ever again.

I love this place! The owner is very personal and takes great pride in his establishment... Casual experience, and a great place to go with friends and unwind the day. An authentic experience. Thanks!

I am very dissapointed in your restaurant. I went there last night 8/1 at 7:00 p.m. and you were Closed! Very upsetting. You should change your hours on the internet and also in the phone book so that nobody else experiences the dissapointment I experienced last night!

I give this place 4 stars because I compared it to all the other sushi places in Carson. If comparing to all my experiences everywhere it would be a 3.

horrible experience From the second we walked in. No music, boring atmosphere. The employees all looked depressed. And worst part the sushi is even more boring. Sad presentation, and not one roll we tried had the yum factor. Don't be fooled by ad saying they're former owners of hiroba. I fell for that because I liked hiroba. Try KAI SUSHI or just go to reno. TOMO IS A WASTE OF MY DAYOFF and money. Wish I could give -2 stars
