Service was alright - it was busy. But their sushi is spectacular. I come from Philadelphia and I save my appetite for Kiku!

I am in love with Kiku! I live near the restaurant, so this place is typically where I go to eat. It's BYOB, which is great, because there's a wine store literally 100 feet away. I recommend this place to my friends - and there's no MSG, which is good because I get a migraine from that.

I tell you, everytime I come here, I am blown away by the food. For me, personally, I absolutely love sushi. And Kiku's sushi is really really good. And I mean REALLY good. My friends tried the hibachi + they said it was delicious as well.

We come here so much, we're practically regulars!

kiku seems to always bring up my mood when i come here. it is very family oriented, which is a plus. my father, who is currently 79 years old, also enjoys the hibachi! my three sons always talk about the hibachi show that they put on. so if kiku can entertain 8 year olds and 79 year olds, what can kiku NOT do?

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is absolutely unique and wonderful. However, I have to criticize the service. Especially on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner, there are a ton of people, so the waiters and waitresses are always in a hurry. Therefore, they might not pay attention to everyone; only the groups who have 7 or more people. Aside from service, the value of the sushi and hibachi are magnificent. I went for lunch and dinner there, and got both the sushi and hibachi en trees. Their sushi has such a one-of-a-kind name, that it just drew me in. The hibachi was also entertaining, especially when the hibachi chefs came out to perform. They are very entertaining, and kids will love them. The atmosphere at Kiku can vary from lunch to dinner. Usually during lunch, it is peaceful and a nice place to have a quiet conversation. When it turns to dinner, it's like you crank the volume to the max. Kids are laughing, screaming, and running around. The place is packed, so everyone's talking all at once. The hibachi tables aren't so isolated from the sushi area, so the people dining for sushi will have to deal with the noise around them. However, this restaurant is overall amazing. They have two flat screen TVs (which might have cost them a bunch!) and these hand-made sculptures. One of them is shaped as a frog! They recently expanded their sushi area, which is definitely a plus. For birthdays, they turn on disco lights and come out with ice cream (or cake, if you brought any) with a candle, and they put on a catchy birthday song. It's just fantastic! Also, it's BYOB, which saves you money. Although this place is a little pricey, it's definitely worth every penny. Portions are more than enough, and quality is also generous. But the one thing I love the most about this restaurant is that the owner is also running around; he helps with cleaning tables, seating guests, getting drink orders. It's nice to see that the owner of the restaurant is helping out the waiters and waitresses. I don't see many owners being helpful at other fancy restaurants. They just view the action from a computer screen. In addition, their cashier who answers the phone, is very helpful and detailed when asked for directions or descriptions of specific foods. Everyone there is an expert, and I just love this place!
