BAD EXPERIENCE - We are Monmouth County Senior Citizens who loved the old Luchento's but, they would not accept a Luchento's Christmas Gift Card worth $100 from our son. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to criticize or recommend the new Luchento's. You lost two of your loyal and steady customers for a $100 gift card. This is a small amount compared to a two million dollar renovation.

I'm an old customer so I wish I had better things to say. Our food took over an hour to come out and it wasn't even that busy. The manager acted like we were the ones who was wrong for complaining. When it finally came out 2 of the entrees were cold. It was an overall mess. Would not go back, not worth the frustration.

First the good things,it is still BYOB (or you would have to take out another mortgage to pay for wine) the restaurant is modern, comfortable great decor..and that is where the good news stops. The waiters, who touch everything in the restaurant also touching your bread ,bare handed we sat across from the waiter station, avoid that table ,unless you like people staring at you while you eat.and hear them complain about customers.Refills on drinks,we had to request them, service lack of attention, homemade gnocchi..were gummy and tough.their tomato sauce?sauce with a bit of basil (Hunts' comes to my mind) we didn't try the unoriginal desserts...went to Jake freeze and got a great ice cream cone instead/overall mediocre food in a great setting...
