Had a nice dinner there last evening. Food was delicious, the service was great & the view was outstanding as our meal ended with a glorious sunset.

The food was good, however it was room temperature by the time it was served to us. The service is awful. Inexperienced, clueless wait staff with no personalities and bad manners. The price was on the high side. Overall, with all things considered, a disappointment.

Food was good and we were having a good time till waitress dropped ketchup on 1 of us ran away ...then later dropped a whole glass of wine on 2 of us ...after we had to ask for mgmt (we were po'd at this point cause noone came and apologised on their own) demanded dinner be comped - they agreed - after we then were given a sweatshirt and gc to return a group of "ladies" heckled us and made my daughter cry. We were asked to leave... We gave the we returned the gc and told them we would not return!!! LOUSY SERVICE!!! AND POOR MGMT!!!

I have been to the sunset grill on a number of occasions and I honestly don't know why I keep trying!!! The wait staff is awful!!! We were served by "the owners sister" last night and it was the WORST experience ever. Took forever to order, what was ordered was apparently no longer available, but took 30 min. to tell us so we had to reorder, then another 45 min and still NO FOOD! We ended up leaving without our food after almost 2 hours!!! In addition, the people behind us were complaining because she didn't come back in timely fashion and they had been waiting for the food to be wrapped and bill so they could leave. The other family next to us got the most disgusting (and wrong) sandwich and sent it back, never received the correct one and it wasn't removed from the bill.... Plenty of other restaurants in the area that have good food and excellent service, won't waste any more money on this one....

I ate there with a group of 16 people in December 2009. There were three main dished - prime rib, flounder, and chicken with noodles in a vodka sause. There was penne served after the salad. All the dishes were terrible. The penne was serverly undercooked and the sauce was tinny. The fish was not fresh and even worse, defrosted improperly. The prime rib was undercooked and the side vegetables were cold/ The chicken has no flavor. Never again.

I am a HUGE BURGER FAN!!!! The Sunset Pub has the best burgers I have ever had!! All of their food is great but he Burgers are Awesome!!! My husband and I go all the time. The staff is super friendly and they always make you feel right at home.

Not somewhere I would go again. Although they offer a great view of the airport takeoff area, that's about it. I got the sunset burger, it was overdone and came room temperature about 40 mins. after I ordered. Almost positive there were more waiters there than customers which is never a good sign. The manager did come over to our table to check on us but he was rather pompous and unbelievably went and sat at the bar right after!

Great place at the Lincoln Park Airport. Large drinks good food. Live music on weekend. Loved the outdoor dining,

BAR WAS HOT! The bartenders were great! We had dinner and the service was slow- but the food was great! Wait staff looked almost "lost" at times.... We went to the bar after dinner and wished we ate there... the two bartenders were remarkable! And the drinks they made were nothing like we tasted before! They made recomendations- even gave out "samples" of their drink specials. They made us feel welcomed- I believe their names were Tommy and Nicole. We now look for them when were there for coctails.. we have become "regulars" at the bar.....
Servers definatly need to get their game on to keep this place going or they will...well... CRASH!

Wait staff is horribly inexperienced. Served iced tea, without bringing sweetener, burgers & fries without ketchup, coffee sans cream. Then watch as the waitress makes 2-3 empty handed trips past our table before bringing what we need. The desert special of "Mountain Berry Tart" was not only small but over thawed in the Microwave but looked as if it was sitting around for weeks. Bar drinks are almost $9 a pop. The Burgers were $12. This place has little value, and the atmosphere outside is cool until one of the planes starts its engines.
