I sent my brother and his new wife here for the first night of they're honeymoon and had nothing but headaches from the start. The room fit a full size bed with enough room to walk around it and that was it. The person who booked my room never mentioned that this would be unsuitable for a honeymooning couple nor that the pictures on the website were not pictures of their normal rooms, but rather deluxe options. For 313 bucks a night, they should have gotten more than a shoe box. The deck was also closed all day and night for a private party and the front desk staff was rude and uncooperative. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Beware

By far the worst dining experience I've had on LBI. This place is all style and no substance. They should take some of the money they spent trying to make you feel like you are in Manhattan and spend it on making the food edible. Both my wife's and my dishes were bland and uninspired. We had to take them home to try to make something at least halfway decent out of them. The bill was not insubstantial either. If you want to dine somewhere on LBI in this price range, there are many better choices.

The decor of the place, both inside and out is neat, but the ambiance was totally lost on us -- it was very loud, the music from the bar in the front blasting and overpowering the entire dining area, it was utterly freezing, they have the A/C cranked up WAY too high (we had to order two cups of coffee each just to keep warm -- I would have bought a blanket if it was on the menu), and the service was barely passable.

I've been going to LBI for years and have wanted to check this place out for a long time. I wish I had skipped it. LBI is a beautiful island, and has many good restaurants for almost every price range. This is not one of them. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This rating is based on the food alone, as the atmosphere was very nice. I think they did an excellent job redoing the old Weda's but the food was terrible.
We ordered 4 entrees, no appetizers and no drinks and the bill was $125.00
Two of the dished, a chicken cutlet dish and a crabcake dish were mediocre to say the least and two of the dishes were terrible. One was a Rib-Eye that was so fatty it was impossible to eat and/or enjoy and the other was a scallop dish that I wouldn't recommend to anybody. The scallops were undercooked.
My advice...eat somewhere else.
