The food here is amazing! Unlike any other. If he made you wait outside, it is because the restaurant is small and it gets very packed. They are allowed a certain amount of people for safety reasons. They usually recommend you to make a reservation or call in ahead of time because its aways packed. I love the atmosphere, its very intimitate and cozy with a great vibe. The host is very friendly and outgoing. We come all the way from NY and its worth the drive!

I've been to this restaurant twice. The first time I was invited, the second I happened to be around the area. The food is OK. I had better peruvians dishes in other restaurants, especially, Jalea and Ceviche (Union City, Paterson, Clifton).
What I most enjoyed about this particular restaurant was the atmosphere and setting.
The owner "Mike" is a somewhat hyper, which can come across a bit annoying sometimes. Not mentioning he drinks while we 'customers' were still inside the restaurant. The hostess, David was extremely rude, he told us to wait outside in the rain for a table!
Unfortunately, the second time I was extremely disappointed when one of my friends had left her digital camera on our table, she called and spoke to the owner 'mike' and asked him to please hold it for her, that she'll come back to pick it up. He promised to hold it for her and asked her not to worry about it that he'll put it away. He remembered us very well, since we were the last guests to leave his restaurant that night. To her surprised when she went back to get her camera, he told her he 'couldn't find it' and to come back later! (she lives in Wayne) She called back several times and all he could say to her was that it was lost! How upsetting! I Couldn't believe it! Shame on them!
I know this has nothing to do with the food, but I thought I needed to share this awful customer service experience with everyone.
