TAKE IT FROM A NATIVE NEW YORKER...I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL BUT IF YOU WANT THE REAL DEAL..NICK'S PIZZA IS THE BEST. I AM ONLY SORRY I AM LIMITED TO FIVE STARS...AND THE STAFF? AS GOOD AS THE PIZZA....

I am 100% Italian and have eaten a lot of Italian food in my life, both home cooked and restaurant. Let me just say Nick's penne with vodka sauce is absolutely amazing!! Best I ever had. I've been to very expensive Italian restaurants in both NYC and NJ that couldn't compare to the quality and taste of this dish at Nick's. This is by far my favorite dish there although I've never been disappointed in anything I've eaten there! They are a little on the pricier side for a take out place but you can tell every dime goes into the ingredients and it's well worth it if you ask me!

overall the best turkey sandwich i have ever tasted in my life the turkey was fresh carved turkey and the greens were refreshing, the pizza is also the best in the area.

I went to Nicks for takeout last Friday night due to a friends recommendation. He was observing Lent (no meat) and I am on a diet. Well, I was totally pleasantly surprised. I had the carnberry almond salad. It was fantastic!. SOOOOO favorful!. The grilled chicken was so moist and delicious! Unbelievable!. The slivered almonds , dried cranberries, red onion, goat cheese and salad greens were all super fresh!. The dressing was also quite lovely tarragon and olive oil-that topped it off fantastically. The only thing I will suggest for next time is no croutons-remember I am watching my calorie count. However, they were good-clearly homemade!. Keith loved his penne aribbatta with shrimp. He has a hugh apetite and it was filling and I quote him "this is really good" We will be back again this Friday night and many other nights as well. Susan

A small family owned business for over thirty years. The food is the best in the area and always fresh. I have been eating here for over twenty years. I have seen the menu grow and get better and better. It's a shame that most people in Bergenfield don't know or can't tell the difference between home made pasta sauce and store bought, I can and you get it at Nick's Pizza & Pasta. The pizza's are consistantly made the same,not under cooked or burrnt, just right. The gourmet pizza's are fantastic. I have eaten a slice of five cheese white pizza to a slice topped with BBQ pulled pork. If your in the mood for a bowl of hot home made soup you can get that too. If your looking for a salad then you have your choice, Orange walnut, Apple walnut, Chef salad, Cesar Salad and more all made to order. Don't forget the subs Hot or Cold, my favorite is the home made meatball parm. You just can't find better food.
