We have been here many times, always good food--good waitress and decent prices
We will return many more times-

My husband and I had dinner there last night. Very nice atmosphere. The clam chowder was fantastic and the Utica greens were good, the coffee was fine.... However the french onion soup, broiled seafood platter and lasagna were some of the worst. We ate very little of our dinner, 69.00 including tip is not bad pricing unless you end up going home and cooking.

Could be a nice meal, but I won't know because we sat for 15 minutes and no one ever acknowledged our being there. So we left.

What a hidden jewel this place is. Heard many wonderful comments about this place but have never dined there till this weekend. Lovely experience! We were greeted with a great smile at the front door and were whisked off to our table quickly with only a 5 minute wait. The place is beautiful. Very charming, cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. Our server was a delight also. She knew the answer to all our questions and we never lacked for anything. The greens were the best we have ever had, the salads were cold and crispy. The Broiled Seafood Platter I had was amazing and my husband ordered the Delmonico Steak which was cooked perfectly. We both had mashed potatoes with our meal that were the best! We ended our dining experience with Apple Pie and some kind of Lemon Cake with a Raspberry Sauce that was worth every calorie. We can't wait to return and hope to bring some friends with us. What a treat!!!

We stopped in for a visit at the Alpine for the first time since they reopened. Our meal was delicious and our server was great. We will definitely be back again! It is so great to have somewhere nice to go that is local!

It was a pleasure to see how nicely the Alpine has been renovated by the new owners. Eating dinner in the dining room was enjoyable. The delmonicos that were ordered however, were not. They were extremely
fatty, with large amounts of grizzle. Not at all good food. In addition, we suggest that the Alpine stop serving head lettuce in their salads and use a mixture of romaine, leaf, spring mix, any combination of lettuces but
NOT iceberg. The appetizer was not served hot, it was lukewarm. The broiled seafood over pasta was tasty and seafood perfectly cooked but the waitress was unable to tell us what type of pasta was served with the
Seafood when we ordered. We discovered it was angel hair, I think!
I'm willing to give the Alpine another try. I do hope they pay attention to the reviews of their diners because other restaurants in the county don't seem to care or cater to the tastes of their customers. We need more fine dining restaurants in Lewis County. I hope the Alpine will become one of the better ones. Good Luck!

Waited 1 1/2hour for our meal, was not hot, turkey was good, but dressing was tasteless
