Definitely NOT political anymore..The owners son and future daughter-in-law are managing Fred's Place. Totally different restaurant. The food is the best I have had. Atmosphere very warm and cozy. Service was very accomodating. The desserts were wonderful as well. Food is made to order so dietary problems were not a problem. As for the Italian egg roll - had one is was EXCELLENT!. You should try Fred's Place again..NOT a POLITICAL RESTAURANT!

Warning if your looking for a place that is all about who you know then this is it.The owner is a politician. I"m sure that says it all. The food was average at best. Had to try this Italian egg role that was on the menu just because I wanted to see if they could pull it off. GROSS! Asian and Italian are not meant to fuse! And that seems to be a theme in this place. The Rib eye with mushrooms and onions was OK. But even I could cook that at home and that's not saying much.So to sum it up if your a good old boy with a like of below average food this is your place.
