I don’t advise if you have any existing heart problems. No salad, no dessert. Basically no veggies…all meat and starch. Bring tums and toothpicks.

Absolutely mind boggling...have NEVER been treated so horribly! Waitress refused to leave the cole slaw off the BBQ sandwich, but yet, offered the bbq sandwich dinner (which cost $8 more to be made that way)...what the heck? After waitress refused to leave the slaw off our sandwich we asked to speak with the manager of which she said she was. Come to find out she was just the waitress manager and not the restaurant manager. My husband asked the waitress if she had ever heard the saying "The customer is always right" and she said no...she had never heard that before LOL We decided to leave without ordering, but stopped to talk to the hostess before leaving. She said they always have this problem and when we told her she lost our business she simply said "we're always full so it doesn't really matter." THE NERVE! Later we found out the cops had been called within the last couple of weeks because people were not satisfied with their food, but they wouldn't remove off the bill. Don't bother with this place...they clearly don't care about their customers...they don't deserve your dollars - take your business elsewhere!!!

my family and I went to the Redneck BBQ and had to walk out before we even ordered. we requested to order a pulled pork sandwich w/o the cole slaw. The manager argued with me for 10 minutes about how they can not accommodate this request. She insisted they MUST make the sandwich with cole slaw on it....they would not put it on the side or simply not put it on sandwich at all and they would ONLY serve the sandwich with the cole slaw on top. I asked the manager if she had ever heard of "the customer is always right"...and she said, "no, I've never heard that". I asked to speak to the owner - and was told that he would not listen to my complaints and that they "always have this problem" (as it relates to the cole slaw on the sandwich) and that they refuse to change. She told me "we are always busy...so if we lose your business it is no big deal!". SERIOUSLY!!
I have never been so outraged in my entire life. I have NEVER walked out of a restaurant prior to ordering...this was a first...and it is now my life's mission to ensure NO ONE EVER experiences this same frustration as me and my family.
PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. It is a very conveniently located bar / restaurant in Cooperstown (as it is a very small town)...but there are MUCH better places to visit when visiting Cooperstown. We really enjoyed Alex & Ikas, Bocca, DoubleDay cafe, etc.
AVOID Redneck BBQ at all costs!!!
