We have come for years and continued when new ownership began. Food quality went down but it is convenient and we continued. Today I went with my father and 2 daughters, and I can honestly say it was easily the worst experience, food quality and service. I asked for homefries to be well done because when I was there last time the potatoes were raw. When they came out, same thing. Very apologetically I asked if she could throw mine and my daughter's back on. No reply from server or apology, she rudely took them back. They came back a bit more done but barely edible, we did not eat them. Then, my daughter that ordered her scrambled eggs well done has clear globs of uncooked eggs on her plate. I told her just not to eat that part. A couple bites later she spits out egg on to her plate and there was huge pieces of egg shell. I set the plate aside and very nicely pointed this out to the server, no response. She takes our plates and loudly throws into the dishpan. She brings check and very rudely states she took a couple bucks off. I said to her, "not her whole meal?", since all she ate was the toast. Her reply was she had eaten some...! The bill was 30.02 which was circled. For the first time in my 47 years, I did not tip. I would never not tip because of food quality, the server has no control of that, but this was unreal. We leave and she runs out stating we shorted on the check. The 30.02 was circled which usually means that is the total. She lies and say it is taxes. I hand her 2 dollars and she starts screaming maybe we should not give attitude. I. Could not believe it. I was apologetic for getting inedible food and not once was I rude! No wonder their parking lot is empty most of the time. By the way, when checking reviews make sure you are mindful of the date, new owners took over about a year ago I think and that is when it all went downhill.
