We visited this facility wearing masks to purchase some ice-cream. An older man behind the ice-cream counter immediately began to rant at us with strange remarks. He first claimed he couldn't hear us, next said that as this was his home we had to follow his rules. He called my husband my father, even after I corrected him. I am black and my husband is not. He then proceeded to remark that my sister-in-law was my mother. We were really taken aback - in retrospect we should have walked out immediately. It was astonishingly rude behavior and we can only think it was because we were masked.
