We are greatly disappointed in this Subway ! My husband and I visited the Subway at Ransley Square in Fishkill NY on Sunday the 27 of December at around 5:20pm to get subs to go for us and our parents. We have been coming here regularly at least once a week to get subs and other food after we go on our long hikes and always have looked forward to it but this time as we pulled up we could see through the window a man with no mask on hanging around inside ,leaning all over the counter and just talking with the female employee that was "working" that evening. He wasn't ordering food and so we waiting in our car for him to leave since he wasn't wearing a mask and did not even appear to have one around his neck or in his hand .This is a huge problem for us with the Covid 19 Pandemic as I have to watch my immune system and so does my husbands parents. After we sat there and waited long enough and he went to go in and let the man know he should have a mask on but when he went in the doorway he saw that not only the man wasn't wearing a mask the FEMALE EMPLOYEE WASNT WEARING ONE EITHER! She had one pushed down around her neck not over her mouth and nose and was behind the deli counter with the food and the doors to the food case were open while she's talking unmasked to the man for some time. My husband told them neither of you are wearing masks around food and you should be and I'm not going to eat here again and we left. This is unacceptable to us and we will be sure to tell all our friends especially the one who go to Marist college and frequent there often. If your employee wanted to go outside the building and talk to him both maskless that wouldn't have bothered us but they were doing this inside the restaurant right over the food counter which was open and where the meat and vegetables are kept. I know for some people this isn't an issue because they don't believe that Covid 19 is real or that it's serious but for us and our family and friends we all KNOW BETTER! It needs to be taken seriously and we are so disappointed in this Subway and wont be back. Maybe your employees need to watch the news or pick up a daily paper or online app and read about what's actually going on in the area and how serious this pandemic is. I hope something is done about this immediately!
