We stumbled into BRR on Memorial Day after cruising all the backroads, not sure of the restaurants in Franklin. BRR was delicious!! I had the "Steak chunks"; my husband enjoyed a 10oz steak cooked to perfection.The mushrooms & onions made my meal. The server was congenial and prompt. We were dieting so able to eat only 1/2 of our meals...but we enjoyed them again for lunch today! We will brave the Great Smokies to return to the Gem of the Smokies.

This restaurant is fantastic! It is very rustic, and a little hard to find even though it is on a main street in Franklin. However, the food is wonderful! The house salad is delicious beyond words and could be a meal on it's own. The prime rib is melt in your mouth tender. I highly recommend you check out this hidden yet "well-worth-the-trip" restaurant in Franklin, TN.
