Skip this place unless you want to be treated rudely. Food is overpriced and waiter left a lot to be desired. Don't even think about trying to order a hamburger at night even if you don't like seafood and you are only 1 out of a party of 8 getting charged a mandatory 18% tip.

My wife and I visited Oak Island for the first time this year. We were there with my two sisters, my brother in law and neice. My brother in law suggested that we try the Fish House as he had eaten there many times. We were so pleased witht the quality of the food and the service. We will return to the Fish House every time we are back at Oak Island fron here on out. I would suggest that if you like good seafood that you try the Fish House for some of the freshest and tastiest seafood anywere in the Carolina's

most wonderful restaurant. large variety of items on menu. We've eaten here every year for the last 10 years. Anything you order is fantastic whether it be apps or entrees. Same waitstaff year after year and all of them are outstanding. The view is AWESOME of the waterway & sound! Sometimes there is a wait but it definitely worth it.

Having lived there for years, we tried all the local places to eat. By far, The Fish House at the west end of Oak Island is the best. Portions are large, taste great! Also, save room for dessert. A server will bring out a tray filled with cheesecakes, cakes, pies etc. All to die for!
