So they ignored me until I got up to leave, then all apologies. 30 minutes I sat there.

The best tuna sandwich I ever had. The wife swears by the coconut shrimp. Coleslaw is really good oysters are good and affordable. Service is hit or miss. It nothing to look at in there sort of a hole in the wall. But I recommend the items I spoke of.

After reading all the negative comments. My husband went up and ordered and brought it home. It was the best friend oysters I've ever had. I live on the Outer Banks. The mac and cheese was like homemade and delicious. I did not see the cook or the wait staff. My husband had no complaints what-so-ever. The oysters and Mac was delicious. Last week. FEB 2021

The beer was flat off the tap. They didnt have the co2 set right. The waitress was busy hitting up an old man in the corner that owned a local motel (I sat listening to the conversation) and when I interupted asking for one beer she shot needles at me with her eyes. I was afraid to order for fear she would do something to my food! Even of the food is A grade, it took me forever to get a beer and felt guilty for asking for one so I wasn't waiting on food.

I have NEVER had such a horrible experience in my life. this place is nasty, every server we spoke with had only been there 1 to 2 days, we were not allowed to speak with any management, the cook did come out finally and may I add she looked like it had been quite a while since she had seen a bath or a brush and acted like she had just been released from prison. to say this was a once in a life time experience would be putting it mildly. we were there close to 3 hours to get incorrect orders brought to us, cold and terrible food, and staff that I would not have hired to scoop up dog poop on the side of the road

It took 20 minutes to get our drinks, 2 hours to get the food which was all brought out at different times, by the time everyone had their food half of the group was finished eating, 4 or the orders were completely wrong, we asked to see the manager and was told he wasn't there, then asked for the assistant manager or someone in charge and was told there was no one. Then the cook came out and proceeded to use foul language and telling us to meet her out back. The police was called because we refused to pay a 19.00 gratuity charge. Over all this was the most horrible experience ever. Unprofessional, horrible service, no customer service at all, the food was horrible and the cook was obviously a uneducated piece of white trash who could not read as she certainly couldn’t read the orders. Lastly the place was filthy, not one spot on the ceiling that was not covered in something. This place needs to be closed down, no decent people should ever step foot in that place.

I would like to share my recent experience at Salty Dogs Seafood and Grill.
Never in my 60 years have I ever experienced such an horrible dining experience.
The owner of this establishment should be totally ashamed of themselves.
The entire staff appeared uneducated hillbillies straight out of the hills.
They were obviously sheltered and had no idea how to interact with people.
Rude, nasty, and unable to complete sentences is only the start. The place was nasty,
The food was terrible, we got nothing we ordered (I blame this on their obvious inability to read and write)
Please if you have more than a 2nd grade education DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE you will be both shocked and appalled
By the appearance, food, and service. Also I can assure you one look at the cook and wouldn’t touch anything she prepared.
I absolutely can not believe this place isn’t not only shut down but torn down, Maggie Valley surely do not have a health inspector.
