I was one of a party of eleven that had lunch there today. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Just called to order a pick up order and were told no, sorry, no pick up orders...6pm on a Friday night, local people, claim short staffed..for a pick up order? Lost our business along with everyone we come into contact with. Good luck

Stopped in about 1 pm on Sunday, August 22, with our dog. We'd been in earlier this week and enjoyed it.
They are dog friendly on the patio, a selling point for us.
While waiting at the hostess stand to be seated 2 women stood behind the counter, not doing much other than puttering with the check folios.

After a few minutes a kid in pink plaid shorts and a Nautica t-shirt came from the kitchen, took a couple of minutes to drink his beverage and then approached me. I told him we had our dog and would like to sit on the patio.
I was advised they were short staffed and no patio service and a 30 minute wait for indoors. I said we had a dog but apparently he wasn't really paying attention. Almost like he didn't care.
I really understand but several things wrong here. Even if short staffed, there were 3 of them hanging at the counter, there were no customers at the counter.
Had the 3 lazy counter people assisted the "short staffed" restaurant by bussing tables, bringing drink orders, or God forbid take a table or two themselves the pet friendly patio could have been used.
As it stands, we're in town 3 more weeks but we won't be back here... unfortunate since we had liked it on our first visit.
If you're trying to lose customers you're doing a great job.

My office orders from Motor Company Grill at least 2-3 times a month for lunch. There is ALWAYS an issue. Always have an order left off, or wrong dressing, wrong toppings, RAW burgers.. always something. The management staff is VERY RUDE. They never apologize, they instead want to argue and somehow make it the customers fault. They have not had a delivery driver this week, so three of us at the office wanted milkshakes. between the three of us, we called Motor Company Grill over 100 times to place the order. 2 times our call was answered and then hung up on. I had to leave the office for an appointment and decided to try and again, i placed the order and was told it would be 10 minutes. I let the gentleman know that i would actually be there in just a minute, and would pull up front. Someone came out and got my card and processed the payment. 26 minutes later, I walked in to find out what was the problem. Their had only been one other car to pick up that got there after me, and from what I could see about 4 tables inside and 2 outside. I was told it would be about 5 more minutes. I went back to my car and waited. A gentleman brought them out in a drink carrier, with two of them spilling all over the side of the cups and the sidewalk. I told him just to forget it, that I did not have time to wait any longer. I called after I got off work to make sure the manager was aware, and to get a refund. As soon as she got on the phone she had an attitude. She told me that there was 15 milkshake orders in front of mine and that one one spinner was working. I told her that the gentleman taking my order told me 10 minutes. I asked her why i wasn't given this information. She proceeded to be nasty and tell me that I obviously did not know how a restaurant works. She told me that they could credit my card, but that there would not be a printed receipt to show the credit. She said if i "needed proof" I could come by and watch them process the credit. Since i was right in front, I went ahead and pulled in. She came busting through the doors with attitude acting like i was being so unreasonable that i wanted my 15.00 credit for the items I did not get. She was so loud and so disrespectful. I was so embarrassed. She continued to tell me that i do not know how a restaurant works and clearly i had never worked in one. I asked if i could have the name and number of the district and or regional manager or the owner. She proceeded to tell me that he "doesn't come around" and trust her to deal with "people like me". As I stood there with my jaw almost on the counter, she keeps getting louder and louder and says "why are you standing there like that? you think you look so cute, but your not!" I got my refund slip and I told her that I would never give them my business again. Jessica, maybe I have never worked in a restaurant, but I do know how to treat people with respect, and I am pretty sure that is a requirement for anyone who works with the public.

Service was very slow and when I asked after 35 to 40 minutes of waiting for our food to come out how long it would be the waiter said we have a packed restaurant inside. We were eating outside. The waiter also sniffed or smelled our Coke and root beer to determine which one was root beer.
So much for Covid 19.

Will start with the positive......dog friendly and very friendly and attentive staff. Clean anda nice rero dacore. Otherwise don't go with an appetite or taste for good coffee. Grilled chicken entree was child's portion with only one side. My young daughter didn't even finish the small macaroni and cheese offering. Soup ok and baked beans were good.
