Food is definitely home cooked. Not so good would be the frozen, not fresh vegetables. At $9.50, fresh items are within reach. Buy local fresh vegetables and charge $10-11.00. I’d pay extra for quality. The place could be cleaner as well. The sanitation grade reflects this. All in all. It stands to be improved to be a “quality” establishment.

Angies Restaurant is a small family owned business in Jacksonville, NC. It has been opened for over 11 years and provides customers with an unmatched family atmosphere. The food is country style cooking that will make your mouth water. All food is fresh and prepped daily. Biscuits are handmade and oh so good! My favorite two days are Wednesdays and Fridays. Wednesday menu consists of country style steak, mashed potatoes, fried okra topped off with a glass of ice-cold sweet tea. On Fridays you have a choice of flounder, catfish and shrimp with your choice of two sides. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Come out and enjoy, your taste buds are waiting...
