I've been there many times and every time the food was amazing and it was cheap and affordable. They have amazing service and their sesame chicken was the best one. Chu's express is an amazing Chinese restaurant that I would recommend everyone to go and try it.

Went March, 2016 and I was very happy with my meal. I got a noodle dish with chicken, shrimp, pork and veggies and it was so flavorful and I also really liked the eggroll. I really wish they would put an online menu up. I really wish most of these restaurants around here would. Its 2016 and we have social media, put up a damn menu....people see what you have, they will order!

Has anyone tried chu's since it reopened ?

Before Wang Express came to town this had been our favorite oriental restaurant for many years. Wang Express replaced them until new owners came to town. Now we are back at Chus express. the most obvious thing is the portion has shrunk tremendously. I use to work with owner/chef. I know
this is not his choice. I'm pretty sure it's his wife's choice and for cutting out delivery. It's also a little soggy too just like others have said.

Chu's has been my families favorite oriental restaurant for many years, my only complaint is the serving size seems to be shrinking.

Of course everyone will have their own opinions on food because we all have different taste in things. But Chu's Express in Asheboro is the best chinese food I have ever endured. For the past few years, they have been voted Best Chinese in Randolph County. Even though they stopped delivering chinese food, which probably prevents alot of customers frm ordering when they stay at home, but its worth the drive. I have voted for them to win Best Chinese for the past 3 years! I know they'll come out on top again this year.

Every time I have eaten from Chu's Express, I have been pleased. Sometimes the food can be a little soggy if left in the takeout container too long, but I think that's to be expected when combining egg rolls with styrofoam containers. They have the best sesame chicken in Asheboro, and the staff has always been courteous and efficient. I agree with the previous poster: we take what we can get! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for decent Chinese takeout.

When I order take-out Chinese food in Asheboro, the only half-way decent place is Chu's Express. I have gotten some items that could have been better, but overall good quality Chinese. Other Chinese food places serve egg drop soup that smells like dirty fish tanks, and taste like grease. Asheboro really isn't known for it's fine dining, so we take what we get here, basically. The people at Chu's are very friendly, and helpful. The food is fresh and fast. Some items may not be as good as others, and maybe the other person that wrote a review was either, a) not from the area, and not used to our crappy restaurants, or b) just ordered on an off night.

I've tried Chu's twice, and they have, without exaggeration, the worst take out food I have had in my 54 years on this planet.
Tonight I had Orange Chicken. It looked like slop and it had no flavor, other than a bad old grease taste. The breading on the chicken was soggy, from swimming in a half cup of what appeared to be oily water.
I could only eat a few bites, and was still hungry. I thought that maybe the egg roll would be okay. WRONG! It was soggy and limp and grease poured out of it when I took a bite.
I don't know how they have stayed in business so long. Certainly they can't have any repeat business. They won't have mine again.
