In 1974 La Strada opened the first of several locations in Charlotte. Starting as a small family business specializing in NY-style brick oven pizza and traditional Italian cuisine, word quickly spread about the great food and La Strada became a Charlotte favorite. After over 30 years of serving great food in Charlotte, La Strada and the original family members have come to Lake Lure with their family recipes offering one of the most varied and unique menus in the area. There’s something special for everyone - including baked and sautéed pasta, NY-style and Sicilian pizza, Baby back ribs, Fresh seafood, Chicken, Burgers, Salads and Steak. The menu also includes a children’s section. Be sure to sample some of the delicious appetizers and signature desserts. Wine, Beer and mixed beverages are available from our Full-Service Bar.

This was our 2nd trip to Lake Lure and La Strada NC. Upon arrival there was a wait because of the pandemic and 6 foot rule but it wasn't too bad. We were disappointed once seated when we wiped our own chairs due to food being there from previous customers. The food was delicious, staff was GREAT and attentive and the view is BEAUTIFUL. Will be back.
