I was very disappointed by the overall service at Tao: I made a reservation two weeks prior and had to wait one hour before getting a table. There were no apologies from the waitress. She simply replied: "There are a lot of people dining here tonight, we shall call you when the table is ready". I think that the service was extremely low and almost disrespectful.
The food was good, original and tasty but the music was too loud to be able to talk with my partner. It was not at all the atmosphere I was expecting. Once again, as far as the service is concerned, there are absolutely no excuses for such a delay, ESPECIALLY if the restaurant is a popular place with good ratings.
