What a surprise! First visit to this place and it scored 5 stars....wonderful pizzas, the best meatballs (Mama's), fresh salad and even the suggested beer was superb. No attitude, uneven though they should have one...caliber of food in this place puts it near Chez Panisse.
This will be the next Berkeley "place to go".
Already thinking of going back for more. Brava to the chef who is Irish but Mom learned Italian cooking from neighbor in Boston.
