Had a very bad experience the other day for lunch. Came here as the one restaurant we went to while in Niagara on the lake. Family of 4 two daughters ages 13 and 8 and my husband and myself. We arrived around 1215. We ordered drinks and food right away because we were really hungry. Waiter didn’t write our order down and came back to the table a few minutes later and told me he forgot what I had ordered. A huge pet peeve of mine. Just write it down! I was a waitress for years and it impressed nobody that you can memorize their order. We added an order of onion rings a few min later. Those came and were good. Our waiter didn’t offer water. I asked. He finally came and brought me warm water no ice. Odd. My daughter ordered a 2nd Shirley temple and they brought her some juice drink. She drank it but didn’t love it. We couldn’t find our waiter to send it back. We sat there and waiting until 1:35 ( 1 hour and 20 min) and no food. Family sat down much after us and got their meals before ours. They ordered burgers. We ordered salads and kids chicken fingers. I called the waiter over and asked if he maybe forgot about us because it had been so long and that family was eating. He replied annoyed “ they got burgers. That’s why” umm…. Last I checked burgers take longer than salads w chicken and chicken fingers. It made no sense. After another 10 min we had lost our appetite and got up and left. We left cash on the table for drinks and onion rings. What a disappointment

Waited over 50 minutes & still no food. Owner spoke to us and told us our meal & drinks would be comped. Never did get our food -- had to leave due to theatre start time. Only the waitress kept apologizing. Did not get a comp. vouchet to use at a future date.

Extremely disappointed. Slow service. Rude uninformed service. Had a much better experience just down the road at Angels.
ANGELS is an amazing spot to enjoy a world class meal. Great service. Great food. Solid business model. Thank you!
Unfortunately - Harps employs very rude and emotionally immature people. Not long until they close.

We have been coming to The Harp for many years and even though we live some distance away it is a great weekend or midweek (now we are retired) outing. Great food and service - NEVER been disappointed. Guinness on Tap suits my husband just fine!! Just the best atmosphere and we will always keep on coming back.
