This McDonald's could really use one of those signs you see at the beginning of a lineup for a ride at the amusement park that let you know how long the wait in the drivethru is expected to be (before you drive in there, get stuck and haven't moved in 40 minutes) and the odds of getting your order correct. For example:
The expected wait time is 58 minutes as there are 6 vehicles ahead of you and the chances of us getting your order correct today is 10%
Don't get me wrong the person taking the order is keying it in correctly, and they will charge you for everything you order, just it gets lost in translation somewhere between the window you pay at and the window they hand you your food from.
And even though they told you "yes the straws are in the bag" (cause you specifically asked) i can guarantee they are not.
