You try and support your local businesses and they pull this crap! Ordered a large peperoni pizza on Saturday and paid $17.50 for it, which is ridiculous in general. Get home and looked in the box and the pizza was as thin as a napkin. I know exactly what they did. The cook grabbed the wrong size of dough, and then when he laid it out he realized it was the amount of dough they use for a medium. So, instead of throwing out what is probably $.50 worth of dough, he stretches it out to 16" which made it paper thin. Really, that's how cheap they are? That's borderline dishonest as well because we've been ordering the same pie since they've opened, so we know that was not what we have received. It was half the weight, which I noticed when I walked back to my car, but didn't look at it then or I would have walked right back inside and dumbed it right on their counter and walked out. It was so thin and dry that we threw the pie away and ordered from Argento's. Not very bright to risk years of repeated business for a lousy handful of change?! We've been going to Gio's since they opened and will NEVER go back again! This is a small area and word gets around quickly. We hope that doing this to loyal repeat customers to save a handful of change helped your retirement accounts!
